Watchlist Follow Mode — Auto-Discover Related Suspicious Addresses
Introducing Follow Mode for Watchlist. It automatically explores the transaction graph around your watched addresses and discovers related wallets showing high-risk activity.
Why Follow Mode
Bad actors (drainers, money launderers) often move funds to new wallets when detected, repeating the same behavior from fresh addresses. Traditional watchlists only monitor the addresses you explicitly add — a "static" approach.
Follow Mode leverages the transaction graph to automatically explore the network around your watched addresses. It discovers related addresses with suspicious activity and notifies you.
How It Works
- Graph Exploration — Fetches neighboring nodes from the transaction graph around watched addresses
- Risk Scanning — Automatically runs security scans on each discovered address
- Filtering — Only registers HIGH/CRITICAL risk addresses as "discoveries" (known infrastructure like DEXs is excluded)
- Notifications — Email and webhook alerts when new suspicious addresses are found
Exploration Depth
Follow Mode supports up to 3 hops of exploration:
- 1 hop — Direct transaction counterparties (default)
- 2 hops — Counterparties of counterparties (Pro)
- 3 hops — Third-degree connections (Enterprise)
Managing Discoveries
Discovered addresses appear in your Watchlist page. For each discovery you can:
- Add to Watchlist — Promote to a fully monitored address
- Dismiss — Remove false positives from the list
Real-World Example
While investigating an Avalanche drainer network (SCAM-003), enabling Follow Mode on a single watched address automatically discovered 15+ related suspicious addresses. All of them exhibited money laundering patterns (Peel Chain, Token Relay).

Get Started
Go to your Watchlist, add an address to monitor, and enable "Follow Mode" in the settings panel. Auto-discovery runs on the regular scan schedule.
